  Like Eli, I have been getting occasional posts blocked. In the most recent case, just changing my name to Pliny allowed the identical post through.

  I started using a different spam filter.

  David, you can generally whitelist the friendly posters in the spam controller configuration, which I suppose would even include BPL!, causing the spam filter to always let those posters post. If you’d like to know how to redirect some posters to their own personalised threads, per Franko’s suggestion, that can also be arranged!

  Alex, I have one rule. If comments are boorish I delete them. Otherwise the alternate spam filter is better.
