Mar
Its the time of the month for the competition to guess the change in global temperatures for the previous month. Currently Jan Pompe is leading. Luck or insight? Time will tell.
Results from RSS normally are released on the 5th of the month. Voting is now open for March. Place your vote below. All with at least one correct guess will be listed.
Update: RSS is out, and down.

My guess is up. I figure that if I’m gonna get into this, I’ll alternate (next I’ll pick lower), and 25% of the time, I’ll be right! Or I could always guess up or down and be right 50% of the time. Hm….
Due to perfect fyzzy logic — i.e. my brain — 2 down and 2 up. RSS slightly down and UAH down somewhat more. HadCRUT and GISS slightly up.
Last month, I picked “up” because I was following UAH pretty closely. Got RSS wrong, but just my luck that last month had a RSS/UAH divergence.
So I picked “down” this month, but based on UAH looking down (hope there’s not another divergence).
Prediction: March UAH; +0.29
Down because the southern hemisphere oceans are going down. It CRF is correct the oceans should be a leading indicator.
The way my lantana is voraciously consuming ACO2, I say down by all on av .4c
spangled drongo: One thing you have to ask yourself is: Do my reasons make sense?
RSS and UAH will be down.
UAH .14
RSS .15
Looks like the data are out:

And I was wrong…
Don’t mess with fuzzy logic. Now only increasing HadCRUT and GISS shall be reported…
