About us

Landshape.org is an Australian blog that focuses on new climate theories, solar science predictions, climate models, and climate observations. The weather and climate are things that affect all of us. So, a blog like this one is of interest to many.

Over the last decades, meteorological science has made big strides forward. Predictions have become much more accurate. On the other hand, weather conditions have become more extreme, with larger effects on our personal lives.

Many wonder what can happen, how we can predict it, and how we can protect ourselves from the effects. That is the reason for this blog. It informs and helps to give insights into climate-related news reports.

Who we are

I have been an amateur meteorologist for many years. I enjoy recording weather events and keeping track of even minor changes. In addition, I take an active interest in physical sciences, such as physics and astronomy. I currently live in Sydney in New South Wales.

But I don’t want to keep my knowledge and experience to myself. I want to help society by sharing my knowledge and shedding some light on certain weather and climate events. The Internet is a treasure-trove of information. But not all is accurate. Probably you too are also looking for a reliable source. With my experience and scientific background, I want to fill that need.

I am the writer of all the content. I do my research, compare information, and include my knowledge and experience in the blogs. Since I am an amateur meteorologist and have gained a broad knowledge of related topics, I am in a good position to inform others and help them with some of their questions.

Writing is part of putting ideas on paper, but editing is equally important. I have a network of friends that have similar interests and specific areas of expertise. I use them to proofread and fact-check my articles. My writing, in combination with their editing, leads to articles that are of high quality. That is the only kind of article that I want on my blog.

With all the efforts combined, the content will be reliable, consistent, interesting, and useful. In this way, we can all contribute something good to society.

Our vision

Climate observation and prediction is an exciting field that touches our everyday life. Yet, it is a complicated field as well. Professionals have to study for many years to make sense of it. Trying to figure things out for yourself is nearly impossible or takes at least many years of experience and reading. Not all of us have the motivation or the time to do that. A helping hand is therefore very welcome.

Reading a well-written and properly researched article is very satisfying. Writing one is equally enjoyable. Landshape.org endeavours to provide that kind of blog; a blog that is informative, useful, and entertaining.

Our mission

In the past we either went to the library to look for books or asked an expert, we can now do much research ourselves. The question is how to search for the right answers. Still, doing research ourselves is a fun and very rewarding process.

The good thing is that we do not need to rely on other people or for the right moment to come along. Any time and any place we can take our phone and read an informative blog. Having access to a reliable blog is therefore very important. Landshape.org’s content is always up to date and reliable.

In a sense, Landshape.org is there to make your life easier and more interesting. You can access good, scientifically sound information whenever you want.

Please share the blog with your friends and family. We hope to welcome you back very often.
